Products Description
Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin (叶绿素铜钠盐)
Specification: 95%
Main Ingredients: Sodium copper chlorophyllin
Product Overview: Sodium copper chlorophyllin is a natural green pigment. Chlorophyll is widely found in green plants and is typically extracted from plants or dried silkworm excrement, then purified to produce this natural chlorophyll derivative.
Sodium copper chlorophyllin appears as dark green powder. It is derived from green plant tissues such as silkworm excrement, clover, alfalfa, or bamboo leaves, using organic solvents like acetone, methanol, ethanol, or petroleum ether. The process involves replacing the central magnesium ion in chlorophyll with copper and saponification with alkali to remove methyl and phytol groups, forming a dicarboxylate disodium salt. This compound exhibits excellent light and heat resistance, with an emerald-green aqueous solution and high stability.
